The ancient territory game on a 9x9 or 13x13 board, with captures, ko, passing and area scoring with komi. A Monte Carlo CPU plays real shape at three levels, atari warnings and hints help you learn, and the end-of-game count lets you mark dead stones before you accept.

Surround more of the board than your opponent, and capture stones along the way.
- Take turns placing one stone on an empty point. Black goes first.
- Surround a group of rival stones on every side to capture them.
- Pass when you have no useful move. Two passes in a row end the game.
- Mark any dead stones, then accept the score. More surrounded space wins.
